What is a Commitment Plan?

Eating healthy is a commitment so we offer different plans designed to help you stay on track. Choose one that best fits your lifestyle.


What happens when I let you choose my meals?

You will give us some detailed information about your likes/dislikes, and we will make your meals accordingly.


If I sign up for a Commitment Plan, how long will it be before I get my first set of meals?

Meals are ready for delivery or pick up every Monday and Thursday.


Can I purchase meals without signing up for a Commitment Plan?

Yes! We sell individual meals in our store (quantity is limited) or you can pre-order as many as you’d like and they will be ready by Monday or Thursday, depending on when you placed your order.


Can I cancel after placing my order?

Due to the nature of our service, no refunds will be administered once your order has been placed. You can however put your meals on hold.



How long do your meals last?

We can’t guarantee the freshness of our meals beyond 6 days. Our meals can be frozen for up to 2 weeks, but we don’t recommend freezing salads.


Are your meals frozen?

Our meals are prepared fresh, NEVER frozen.


How is my food packaged?

All our meals are packed in microwave safe and reusable containers.


How long do I microwave my food?

The average time is 1-2 minutes depending on your microwave and temperature preference.


How healthy are your meals?

We provide a balanced amount of protein, carbs, vegetables and fats while making as many health-conscious substitutions as possible. All our sauces, dressings, etc. are house made.

We are also very proud to say that we NEVER use wheat/gluten, soy, corn, peanuts/peanut butter, added preservatives, added sugars or artificial flavors/colors/sweeteners.


What is the difference between regular and large size meals?

Our regular meals are portioned at 4 oz of protein whereas our large has 6 oz.


What oils do you use/recommend?

Organic unrefined coconut oil and organic extra virgin olive oil.


Do you offer vegetarian meals?

Yes! We proudly offer several vegetarian options for pre-order.


Will I lose weight with your meals?

Results vary from individual to individual. In our experience, customers who participate in our Commitment Plan program and follow our tips and recommendations CONSISTENTLY have the most success in reaching their health and weight loss goals.


Why don’t you use wheat/gluten?

Wheat itself has changed dramatically over the past few decades. Today’s wheat contains more gluten and fewer vitamins and minerals than the grains our ancestors ate.

Gluten causes inflammation throughout the body, abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, headaches, tiredness, skin problems, joint and muscle pain, brain fog, anxiety, depression, etc.

Gluten also damages your intestines, resulting in improper absorption of nutrients from the food which can lead to other serious problems.


Why don’t you use corn?

Corn has no real health benefits and causes inflammation.


Why don’t you use soy?

Soy sets off inflammation because it messes with your hormones and your thyroid.



Where do you deliver?

We deliver in Hobbs, Lovington, and Seminole. We plan to expand our reach in the future.


What do you charge for delivery?

Commitment Plan delivery for Hobbs is $19.99. Commitment Plan delivery for surrounding areas is $39.99. This covers 4 deliveries. Single meal order delivery charges will vary based on location.


How many meals do I have to order to qualify for delivery?

A minimum of 5 meals must be ordered for delivery.


When will my meals be delivered?

Deliveries are made every Monday and Thursday between 10am-2pm


When can I pick up my meals?

Our store hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm.

Monday’s Commitment Plan meals will be ready every Monday at 10am. You have until Tuesday at 6pm to pick them up.

Thursday’s Commitment Plan meals will be ready every Thursday at 10am. You have until Friday at 6pm to pick them up.


What if I’m not available at time of delivery/pickup?

No problem! Just let us know as soon as possible so we can put your order on hold or you can make other arrangements. If you don’t let us know then your meals will still be prepared, and you WILL be charged for them.


*It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us of any changes concerning deliveries/pickups.




What are the benefits of Food Matters meals?

  1. As mentioned before, we don’t use wheat/gluten, soy, corn, artificial flavors/colors/sweeteners, added sugar, added preservatives.

Do I need to work out in order to lose weight with your meals?

Staying active is very important but not necessary when it comes to weight loss. Your diet is 80% of a healthy lifestyle.
